Making A Run For It

Cefalu' was wonderful. This is a true old town Sicily experience. We found good food and lots of sights; castles, forts, churches, a light house, souvenir shops, and beautiful views. Serge will have to add his pictures to this post because he took some fantastic shots from up high and at the church, along with about town. Terry's battery died so this post is a bit light on photos of Cefalu'. That is until Serge and Cynthia find a wireless connection.

So we just took off for a 69 hour run from Cefalu', Sicily, Italy to Palma, Mallorca, Spain. Terry and Mary have run out of time. They have to reach Valencia to fly home on the 7th. That means they have to be in Mallorca by the 6th to fly to Valencia. So the clock is ticking and we're making a run for it. Time to start standing watches.

UPDATE: 69 hours was optimistic for a 556 mile passage. We are nearing the southern end of Sardinia. Time is running out. Alternative plans are being discussed. Frequent flyer miles anyone?
